Help protect and improve the wetlands for the benefit of future generations, as well as the region’s wildlife. Our activities cater for varied interests, from the bird watching enthusiast to those who just love to appreciate nature and want to enjoy the pleasures it offers.

Would you like to help us by contributing to the maintenance of the area and play an active role in the continued preservation of the wetlands?

By joining us you can:

• Assist with regeneration of the natural flora in the Wetlands

• Attend activity days and meetings

• Help with cleanups, weed control and tree planting and follow ups

• Conduct surveys of populations of flora and fauna

• Participate in our management plans

The Brixton Street Wetlands offers particular opportunities to see rare plants and animals and learn the values of biodiversity and of the uniqueness of locally indigenous species and how they adapt to the local habitat.
