Getting your school involved
The Brixton Street Wetlands offers particular opportunities to see rare plants and animals and learn the values of biodiversity and of the uniqueness of locally indigenous species and how they adapt to the local habitat.
When you get involved, you help ensure that our programs remain relevant. Your contributions can add strength to the work we do everyday to preserve this special place and the many stories it holds. Community engagement is key to preserving the mission of the Friends of The Brixton Street Wetlands.
Our activity mornings are held on the third Saturday of each month, and you can meet us at the Alton Street gate, Kenwick, at 9am to 10.30 am followed by morning tea (Please wear suitable footwear and clothing).
